In your opinion who is the most consistent Rock and Roll artist?

most consistent meaning puts out a great album one after the other.|||Brand New, sure not exactly Rock n Roll, but none the less constant good albums are relased by them.|||Personally, I believe AC/DC is consistent. They just put out Black Ice in 2008, which is a great album, I must say. Their old lead singer died,and the new singer came back just as great! AC/DC is a band I would recommend to anybody who wanted to get into classic rock.|||In my opinion it would be Sonic Youth. I'm a big fan of theirs and they've been releasing albums for about 25 years. Each album has been consistently great.





I'd also Neil Young, although some of his 80's stuff are a bit patchy but nowhere near as bad as some critics would say.|||I second Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden, and I add Tom Waits, Ramones, and Iggy Pop





(though Iggy is a little shakier than the others)





Edit: Jimmy, I do concede that for Neil, but the 90s are the only thing holding down the Stones from joining him in that claim.|||David Bowie, IMO.


I second Iron Maiden, if it counts.


Alice Cooper. Even his average stuff is great..again, IMO.

He has put out not only good but great albums in every decade since the 60s. Name someone else who has done that. You can't.|||Clapton
