but recently ive heard a lot of TV programs+ movies use band of horses the funeral...lol is this normal?? I don't hear a lot of indie music played on TVThis maybe a stupid question about rock and roll?
I'm not sure what the question is, but if you want to use an artist's song on a TV show or movie, you have to pay a licensing fee to the artist. The more popular the song, the more expensive it can be. You don't hear alot of popular songs included in TV shows simply because they don't have the budget. Big-budget blockbuster movies are more likely to include popular music because they can justify the spend with box office returns.This maybe a stupid question about rock and roll?
It is normal. Indie music is actually really popular, contrary to popular belief. The Hipster kids who listen to it though, can be SOOOO pretentious about it, that they make it seem like a "secret club" that no one knows about. lolThis maybe a stupid question about rock and roll?
I guess the editors can pick and choose what music goes into a TV show. mine would be all metal/hard rock/Jrock/Visual Kei
