How outrageous is it that KISS will not be getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

and the Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, and Donovan are on the ballot ?|||Mark this down, Tom Waits WILL BE INDUCTED despite never having a song make the charts. Why? Jann Wenner likes him, that's why.





The time has come to boycott the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I've seen a lot of petitions for various deserving acts (e.g., Steve Miller, Linda Ronstadt, the Monkees, Neil Sedaka, Chicago, the Moody Blues, and although I don't care for their music, Rush and Kiss [it's a hall of FAME, not a hall of "quality"]) who have never been NOMINATED, let alone inducted, while two-hit wonders like Chic ("Le Freak" [which should automatically DISQUALIFY them] and "Good Times") are nominated (and are DISCO, not rock and roll), but the only signature they'll pay attention to is the one that is NOT on the Visa or Master Card buying admission to the building.|||****, really. Half of those aren't even rock of any kind, so they don't even belong on the list to begin with. Then I consider that bands like Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Rush haven't even been nominated yet, and it makes me want to personally bomb the place. I think the Sex Pistols had the right idea, the place is a piss-stain, or as I like to call it, "the mistake by the lake."|||No more outrageous than it is that Rush has been passed over for decades. It's a meaningless honor anyway, in my opinion. The only bands that get nominated are the ones Jann Wenner likes, and he's such a curmudgeon I wouldn't want to compromise my music to impress him if I were a rock star.|||I think the beastie boys ll cool j and donovan deserve to get recognized. Wait a minute since when is Rap being let into the ROCK and roll hall of fame.|||If The Sex Pistols think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a "piss stain" or something, then I think so too.
